#2. The SCALA SKY TERRACE
A more cosy scene that’s just perfect for a sunset aperitivo, located on top of the Hotel Milano Scala. Lush and green in decor, with inviting and comfy sofas to settle in without breaking the bank. #3. The martini terrace
Hopefully you already know the Martini HQ, an iconic landmark for an iconic brand in the heart of the city. Up until 2018 the terrace was only available for private events, but nowadays it is also open to the public, you just have to make reservations for one of the rooftop-experiences online! There are two options available: the Martini Cocktail Experience, where you get to learn and experiment the art of preparing the three most famous Martini cocktails, or the more straight forward Martini Observatory, a classic aperitif on the rooftop.

#4. Rooftop Visionair
Coming in at #4, our most economic choice! A lush Milano rooftop bar with more relaxed vibes, found on top of an old factory in the Lambrate Design District. This spot doesn’t command the central views or the central prices of some of our other entrants but this rooftop refuge with it’s grass, trees and plants, is a true city escape (that also comes with a small pool)! Working as a bistro restaurant with a Brooklyn-feel, the rooftop menu includes house cocktails named after the neighbourhoods of Milan, along with light bites at fair prices.

#5. duomo 21 terrace
We could hardly leave out one of Milan’s newest and most popular terraces, in the most famous Piazza in town. If you want the best view of Duomo - this is it. Set over multiple levels working as both lounge, cocktail bar and restaurant, the 3rd floor rooftop terrace is what you’re looking for! A great spot for a relaxing lunch break while exploring the central parts of town. Towards the night the vibe gets a bit more upbeat with live music & DJs.
