A Masterpiece of Architecture You MUST See

Milan’s Hall of Fame

It may seem strange to visit a cemetery, but once you get a peek at Monumentale, you'll see why it's considered one of the most architecturally valuable monuments in Italy.

Historically reserved for the rich and famous of Milan, instead of rows of basic tombstones, you can find some of the most elaborate burial sites imaginable.

From the father of Italian literature, Alessandro Manzoni, to the sporting royalty of F1 world champions, to the industrial giants of the Campari family (who recreated a life-size last supper scene!).. Anyone who was anyone in Milan, is here.

Essentially an outdoor museum, the site can be reached easily on the purple metro line, with entry completely free of charge.
