The Cheapest Place For Linens

Moving abroad is stressful & overwhelming. Whether it’s permanent or temporary, making sure we get everything done (the documents, the clothes; the apartment) can be both expensive and time consuming.

Since we don’t want to (or should) live with paper plates, it’s useful to know the homeware shops available where we may obtain the essentials at a reasonable price.

Here’s a list to help you navigate Milan and slowly build up your ideal apartment:

Primark

Brand new to Duomo and it’s the latest trend. It’s huge and normally packed. Of course, it’s due to the fact that it’s the most economic option of all. Even if you don’t normally shop at Primark, you might be tempted by everything available at such a primary (pun intended) location.

Via Torino, 45, 20123 Milano MI

Ikea

There are now a few Ikea Planning Shops in the city center like the one in Via Larga or Tre Torri -that offer home essentials, but if you're looking for the largest stores, they are located about an hour away. Alternatively, you can easily shop online.

Kasanova

With several shops available within the city center, Kasanova is a great option if you’re looking to invest slightly more for better quality items. They have an extensive cooking & baking selection, as well as a variety of home decor. Besides, there are always sales going on!

Piazza Armando Diaz, 6, 20123 Milano MI
