Gucci’s Street Art

Nothing worse than wasted space. At least that’s what Gucci saw when looking at the blank canvas in Largo La Foppa. It all started with the now 28 year old English artist Angelica Hicks and an instagram account found by Gucci.

Gucci came across the artist’s work through her instagram account while planning to launch two ‘Wall Art’ projects, one in the busy streets of Soho, New York and the second one in the fashionable streets of Milan found in Moscova just after (the fancy) Corso Como and Porta Garibaldi.

“Today, this wall is no longer a blank canvas.”

This first collaboration that took place in the Spring of 2017 was a success and it eventually became a tradition for other artists to collaborate with Gucci.

Today, this wall is no longer a blank canvas. Every few weeks you will be surprised by Gucci’s imagination.

You’ll have no trouble finding a good bar around where you can enjoy an after class aperitivo (watch out for the crowds on the weekend) and share your Instagrammable Milanese experience.

Corso Garibaldi, 111, 20121 Milano MI
