What Is Design Week?

Design week or Fuorisalone is the world's biggest annual design gathering, featuring the furniture fair Salone del Mobile & hundreds of events around the city.

It's that time of year where Milan uses its streets as a living room to show case the latest and coolest interior designs of the year. Or if you’re not so much into that… it’s still a fun way to get a few glasses of champagne for free!

This year it’s happening in venues across Milan such as Brera & Tortona from the 4th until the 10th of September.

The main event however is certainly Salone del Mobile, the world's largest and most important furniture fair, which takes place every year at the Fiera Milano exhibition centre.
