One Hour From Milan - The Largest Maze

The largest labyrinth in the world is located in Italy and only one hour drive away from Milan!

The Masone labyrinth is a cultural park in Fontanellato in the region of Parma composed of seven hectares made up entirely of 20 different species of bamboo!

The creator of the Masone labyrinth Franco Maria Ricci had always loved mazes and thought of building one for the first time in the 80’s, but was only able to fulfil his dream of building his own maze until the early 2000’s.

Today, the Masone labyrinth is open and available for visit through advance booking! Tickets are available daily and allow you to enter & exit several times on the day of validity, during its opening hours.

Once you manage (if you dare!) to make your way through the biggest labyrinth, you’ll also be able to enjoy the rest of the park and its temporary exhibitions, presentations, concerts, a restaurant and even a café!
