The First Wave Pool In Milan
Idroscalo Park
Built as an airport for seaplanes in the 1920’s but known since the 30’s as “il mare dei milanesi” (the Milanese sea), Idroscalo Park offers an oasis of refuge for locals, during the hot summer months.
From surfing (with a wave machine!), to kayaking, to water parks - with no shortage of activities, it’s unlikely you’ll need to bring along a book.
For those less inclined to physical activity, there’s the GUD bar serving food & drink, where you can work on your tan, right by the pools.
PRO TIP : Bus #73 runs from Duomo (or the new M4!), through Citta Studi, directly to the park.
