The First Restaurant On Wheels

There is one thing that Italians are extremely good at. Actually... two things; food and preserving traditions. So what happens when you combine Italian dining with a centuries old icon of the city? A rolling restaurant! Welcome to the ATMoffera.

“elegance, taste and tradition”

I’m sure you’ve at least heard of the famous Milanese Trams. The vintage ‘trolleys’ that made it all the way to the hills of San Francisco (but the Milanese will remind you that they were here first!).

Trams are a massive part of Italian history dating back to 1878. There is one vintage tram specially from 1928 that has been preserved and refurbished to be used today as... you guessed it; a restaurant.

Wait! that’s not even the best part. This tram travels all through the centre of Milan showing you the most historic parts of the city while providing you with a delicious 4 course meal for €70 (VAT included) per person regardless of your menu of choice!

There are three options on the menu: meat, fish and vegetarian. This is updated seasonally to ensure the freshness of the products and cooked by the chef that is always on board.

There is even an extensive wine list that offers exclusive quality labels that perfectly pair with the delicious food.

Tables were made from the original teak benches to produce a total of 24 fixed places, divided into 4 tables for 4 people on the left and 4 tables for 2 people on the right. Somehow around all this, they even squeezed in the kitchen, wardrobe and even a bathroom on board!
