To reserve an accommodation, students can obtain a Preliminary Rental Contract by submitting an online application or visiting our Student Support Centre in Milan.
Upon the subsequent issuance date of a Preliminary Rental Contract, the associated accommodation is blocked for three (3) business days, pending receipt of [a] the countersigned rental contract and [b] the associated booking invoice; pertaining to the 6-week Refundable Security Deposit and one-time Service Plan amounts.
Monthly rental instalments formally commence upon the formal tenancy start-date indicated for by the subscribed rental contract.

Traditionally, tenants are naturally responsible for their own tenancy expenses, personal utility contracts (electricity, gas, internet), and domicile city taxes (TARI).
Nest Students instead benefit from a fully inclusive formula, through a one-time Service Plan (valid for < months), covering all tenancy expenses, including; contract administration, domicile registration, residential city taxes (TARI), personal utilities (incl. electricity, gas, fibre internet), Arrivals Care Package (incl. blankets, pillows), as well as access to a local Student Support Centre for personal and maintenance support.
Students can choose to upgrade their Service Plan to access additional benefits including; on site assistance with Codice Fiscale and Permit of Stay applications.

The Nest Milan provides two distinct format of student accommodation:
Co-Living Apartments feature standalone room contracts, affording social co-living solutions for international exchange students with shared communal spaces (kitchens/bathrooms). This contract type is ideal for those seeking to meet other students.
Private Apartments are otherwise available with traditional rental contracts for the entire property. This contract type is ideal for both individuals and groups who prefer to determine their own housemates, if any.

The advertised name of each Nest is indicative of the associated street name in Milan. eg. Viale Lombardia is situated on the street of the same name.
The Student Support Centre is situated in the historical centre on 46, Corso Porta Ticinese.

Advertised rates are fully inclusive of all fixed expenses (condominium fee’s, heating, water).
Personal utilities/consumables, as well as domicile registrations and associated city taxes (TARI), are included within the one-time Student Service Plan, valid for a maximum period of <6 months.

The majority of Nest Student Accommodations are booked 3-4 months in anticipation of the respective semester.
Popular Nests may have a waiting list of up to 12-months.

Service Plans are valid for 1 (one) student, for any periods up to 6 (six) consecutive months.
